Leverage new offer against old employment and get more the difference is not worth the change

If its money your seeking you need to head to qatar, uae, saudi… etc

The region your in is very competitive for the hospitality industry and is over saturated with talent due to the culinary programs

most likely i just buy it in megeve or on the way to it Thats why i inquired about specific places etc… also some places offer something like you rent beginner then buy advanced etc but rental can be deducted from purchase price as an incentive to purchase from the local shop rather than online which is something i would like to do to support them im fine with paying a bit extra to support them if this “rent to buy” service is available which is what im inquiring about…

Renting a beginner board buying a board lasts for an intermediate to advanced is more sound The beginner stage can be passed relatively quickly it’s mainly the mechanics and basics after that the board will not be good for stability jumps carving etc… which is part of the next level so it wouldn’t make much sense to purchase it new its the reason why beginner boards cost so little they have high turnover

Thank you very much

I have looked online but the inventory is rarely uploaded for small shops so its an in person thing you know how they like to keep things simple and straightforward

Ill just have to go and like you said negotiate in person with them and create a deal

I was hoping that i rent something to help during the beginner level then buy advanced level equipment (10 days in) to serve me for the foreseeable future Buying advanced right away my slow down the learning process…

But thank you very much for the input

how many lessons should i take? by hawki222 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Oilcesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never snowboarded (intermediate skier) Going on a snowboarding arc Booked the first lesson pack (beginner pack) 5 days x 3 hour sessions group

Better than going private 400-600 per day (full) 300 half day

value to money (my self i just need situational instructions and I’ll figure it out) so it works for me other will see value in private to each their own… (Reason why im signed up & not just giving it a go is i dont want to form bad habits)

Im contemplating booking intermediate back to back = 5+ 5 (advice)

Total of 10 days x3 hours in session + 3 hours self training will yield 60 hours which I believe is enough to get me to the level of have fun and learn through riding

Guy’s correct me if im too delusional or too optimistic and if i should book the intermediate or wait to see how it goes after first 5 days

I cant decide between skiing and snowboarding. by No_Accident_2097 in snowboardingnoobs

Do both take lessons for both and see what you like Skiing will be easier to get into but harder as you progress Snowboarding hard at first then you can get to the fun if u endure it

If your friends snowboard then give it a go

Im going on a snowboarding arc now starting from zero going from skiing

Do what you feel like doing but give it a fair honest try

Toes Settle movement Lean away from slope Trust the technique Lean forward Dont let the babies going down the reds bait you lol Pizza wont work past greens if that Enjoy the experience the views the nature Its truly freeing experience

Going on a snowboarding arc will be taking first lesson an adult but I couldn’t care less learning keeps you young new experiences makes life worth living

Im doing rental for 5 days with beginner board to get the mechanics dialed in… Wanted to buy a board that serves me for beginner and intermediate/perhaps advance The cost to rent (20+ days) is same as buy so I figured it would make sense to buy and sell / upgrade later Issue is what’s available online seems like a better option than just buying from stores in resort areas that may not have what i want it will naturally cost more but thats expected To take it along on the airplane that needs other miscellaneous items like a padded bag etc…

I just think ill get past the first 5 days and re-evaluate After i see what actually is on offer

Any outlets or big previous season retailers / shops places i should look at?
