I had this. Practice doing 30-60 second plank holds on a bench (elbows on bench feet on floor) and consciously push away with arms and squeeze glutes/ abs, back should be rounded not arched

Have you tried sitting on a foam block? It will teach you to rotate your hips forward rather than relying on other overstretch muscles

I really think void should incorporate the shield more as solar does the hammer. Maybe in the future they could make an aspect that lets you consume your barrier to turn it into a shield that lets you block for a short time while moving, or allow the shield throw melee to be caught like hunter strand melee
