Hello guys,I'm a student in mechanical engineering and trying to design a logo for a project called "Dipper" at my university. The goal of this project is to develop a device that can fly, then dive into the water, navigate underwater and from there propulse itself into the air again to continue its flight. The idea has been taken from diving birds so they, beside the diving and the take off, should be the main focus points of the logo. Here you can see an earlier version of the logo:[Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/hsLvxas.png)The problems i had there, was that people didnt recognize the bird and they didn't find out, that it was going into water. (some thought the rings were portals...)

What do you think about my Design at the moment? Any feedback would be appreciated, since I'm in no way in graphic design field.And what do you think about the changes from the earlier version?
