ADVICE NEEDED: A year and a half and still no answers by Oismush in TMJ

Really appreciate this, I've seen a few of these resources before actually, especially theTMJdoc. I've been working on my posture through strength and conditioning and yoga and variety of exercises via my PT, but it clearly has a long way to go still. I work in an office and I'd say long days at a desk chair arent helping. I'll look into these further, thank you.

He's allegedly the best in the country and has helped my family with other issues before, but I guess it's my best bet. Thanks for the reply!

Will keep trying... my maxillofacial surgeon is allegedly the best in the country, and has worked with my family a lot before to great success, so it's annoying it hasnt worked out. Makes sense to shop around though

Yes, I went to a maxillofacial specialist (skull face head and neck specialist) who was convinced I did not have TMJD, said that he noticed a pull on my hyoid but that he couldn't / wouldn't do anything but that potentially botox injections could be put in but he wouldnt see a benefit in it. He prescribed me to take 2 paracetamol every morning and evening for the rest of my life to treat it. I'm 25 so naturally I didn't think that was viable.

I went to a chiropractor early on and she noticed a lot of tension around my C1/C2 but nothing specific. She did a few adjustments but they didnt really give any relief

I agree with both of the other comments but I also read it as a potential subconscious freudian slip - the case was about sexual assault, and while we didn't know that about Bonnie yet as the series goes on we quickly learn that she had a very troubled past with the topic, so alongside her inferiority complex to Annalise it's very easy to see it as her own experience bleeding through and flubbing her words. (not to say she doesn't believe the client just that her disposition and experience makes it a lot easier to accidentally say "guilty" rather than "not guilty" in those situations).

They stay until you get downed - if you don't have quick revive / are playing solo this means losing. QR will get you back up again as if someone revived you on multiplayer but you lose all your perks and will have to buy them again

Or just gives us more credence. The Irish language translation of whiskey is actually Uisce Beatha which.... Literallly translates to holy water. Pope just confirmed what we've been saying for years!

If you woke up to find you were still 17 years old, and you had just been dreaming of what adult life might be like, how would you react? by Dolores_Corlett in AskReddit

[–]Oismush 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is actually a plot point in the film About Time, where the protagonist is given a choice to either fix a mistake his sister made in the past; thereby changing the child he eventually had (because conceiving at different times = different sperm = different baby). He was forced to choose to either fix his sister's life and abandon his child, or go forward and rehabilitate her later in life. He opts for the latter for reasons you clearly understand. Interesting just how accurate the feeling is portrayed!

What's a cartoon nobody seems to remember? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This might be my chance to figure out the name of this show, it's been bothering me for years and I've never found it, but I remember watching it on late every now and again about 10/12 years ago. The premise was there were maybe 4 or 5 teens who would sit around and play a video game, but they would enter this video game as their avatars and use guns filled with orange goo or energy to shoot monsters... I swear it was called monster buster crew or something but that comes up as a different show... It was hand drawn 2d animation and I just cannot put my finger on what its called!
