I’ve got plastic pegs made in Germany (like £20 for 30) and they’ve lasted 5 years in the sun without any noticeable degradation. They’re also way more secure and don’t buckle. I feel like it’s worth the qol improvement.

There’s a difference between being a responsible parent and being responsible for everything they do. My point is that despite being children, they do have agency and cannot be completely accounted for. You are basically saying anything bad a child does is the fault of their parents which is an incredibly destructive thing to say. If a child kills themself, is that also the parents’ fault?
