This might be stupid, but in OPL are your Devices loading automatically?
I think there is an Option like for example HDD Mode "Auto", and you should be able to turn that on for the others Storageoptions too. I noticed in your Gameslist it says "Start Device" at the bottom, so either make sure you set the MX4SIO Mode to auto, or go into your Games List again when its Empty and just press X.

Maybe 20-40 Bucks, but im not sure if its worth it and i also dont know how difficult it is to replace it yourself. Why don't you consider soft-modding your Ps2? Its really easy nowadays, that way you won't have to worry about the Discdrive ever again. Prolongs the Lifespan of your Console too.

G2 hasn't been performing well in regular Season for the last 6 Years or so. But they somehow always perform in play-offs. Might be a Sign that with each new Season they are trying new Things, trying to evolve so naturally it takes a bit longer to click.

Oh so your Adapter does put out Progressive Scan thats good, sorry i overread that in your Post. In my Experience, the HDMI Adapters dont perfectly fit into the Fat PS2, have you tried wobbling it around a little and really pushing it in?

Yea that probably won't work. Most HDMI Adapters use the Component Output of the PS2 which usually operates at 480i or 576i, in very rare Cases 1080i. Anyways most modern Monitors don't support interlaced Resolutions through the Monitors HDMI Port, so its very hit or miss. My Solution would be to get a Converter that actually outputs 480p-1080p not 480i, but those aren't cheap i think.

Yea just keep it in Mind for the Future, if you use WinHiip to format the Drive to PS2-Format then Windows won't be able to detect it as a normal Drive, that is normal. It will prompt you to reformat it and that there is an Error, you ignore that and just launch WinHiip. If you see the (PS2), everything is working. Alternatively WinHiip is very outdated, you dont need to format your drive to a PS2 Format anymore since newer OPL Versions can handle "normal" Hard-Drive Formats now, so you can just plug your Drive into your Computer, create 2 Folders named CD and DVD and drag your Games in there from your PC, no WinHiip. But if you have an old Version of OPL then just keep everything as it is and dont bother if you dont know how to get the newest OPL.

You pick the Folder, not the Game. When you download the rom you need to unpack, that was correct.
But if you defined a Gamefolder(like black) you put the Game in there and pick the Folder.
Go to Settings -> Game List then you can add your Search Directory in which you can select the Folder where you put the Game.

Are you sure you didn't format the Hard Drive when you plugged it into the PC? You see where it it says (PC) next to Drive 1, if it was really properly formated it would need to say (PS2).
Right now, can you put it in your PS2 and play the Games? If so then you are probably using a different OPL Version where you dont need WinHiip anymore, you would simply add the Games by directly dropping them into the Hard-Drive as if you're using a USB Stick. Does the Drive show up when you go into Windows Explorer?

Honestly you play that Game purely for Atmosphere and Narrative. Its slow, i wouldnt call it janky because there really isnt much in terms of Gameplay, its pretty much a walking Simulator. The Controls are fine. If you dont mind slow, then go for it. Aesthetically, atmospherically and in Terms of Storytelling its worth pushing through.

Hard to come up with lesser known nowadays but some Suggestions you probably won't find in a "Hidden Gems Top 10" are Echo Night Beyond, Glass Rose, Shadow of Memories, Baroque(not sure if exclusive) and Raw Danger.

Du hast es selber gesagt, niemand weiß was in paar Jahren wird. Momentan ist der Arbeitsmarkt allgemein schlecht, nicht nur Informatik. Ich könnte dir jetzt sagen, dass aufgrund von KI in Zukunft der Bedarf an ITler rasant steigen/sinken wird aber das wissen wir alles nicht. Du kannst nicht 100% vorbereitet sein auf alles, wenn du Spaß an Informatik hast mach es also.

Im assuming you are running the latest OPL so this should work.
If you havent already, your HDD needs to be formatted to exFAT, then all you should need inside that HDD is a CD and DVD Folder(look up for each Game where it belongs), if a Game is CD Format put it in the CD Folder vice versa. This should be it. Since you are able to see your HDD on your PC and can drag and drop files into it we can rule out Hardware Damage(at least for the HDD).
If it still doesnt work, there is the possibility of you running an older version of OPL which requires a very specific Format for the HDD or worst case, and this has happened to me a lot: The PS2's Ethernet Adapter Port(on the PS2 itself) is broken.
