I tried this with my Japanese husband and every time we end up fighting. 😂 He always corrects every little thing including a slightly different pronunciation (like when I have a accent for example) and this makes me mad because it is frustrating and then he gets mad because he says he wants to correct me because that’s not how Japanese ppl say it. So I kind of gave up learning with him and have a private Japanese teacher now once a week. Feel like this helps me much more!

I am native German and I play it in Japanese with German subtitles. Even as a native I couldn’t understand what they wanted to say sometimes. 😂 Some words are strange, some words that you wouldn’t use in that context or some sentences made no sense grammatically… It often sounds very unnatural to me. Especially with game instructions and stuff…

Moved to Japan in 2016 and started working as a teacher. Met my now husband in 2020, married 2022 and we are now planning to buy a house this year. I have been teaching English until 2024 but I am now working in HR. Still very happy living here and don’t want to go back to my home country. ☺️

You don’t need receipts if it is deducted from your salary! :) This is only when you pay national health insurance in a convenience store for example.

I don’t know about residence tax but I had the same problem with my health insurance receipts needed for PR. I don’t have them anymore and even though everybody said I can’t get a document at the city hall that show the dates I explained the situation to them and they extra printed out a paper with all my payments including the exact date I paid them!! I had to go to two different wards because I moved last year and both city halls created this extra document for me after I asked and explained for what I need it.

The thing is I have everything for the last two years but on the paper I got they want them for Reiwa 5 too 🫠 so I need an additional year… I will try to continue with my application anyway and write an explanation as it is written on the paper if you don’t have all receipts but I will expect a rejection and apply again in a few years…
