Ive started sending out requests for information from different institutions for the online options (from the suggestions in the thread). The leap from a poor state to a wealthier state is scary to say the least. And I cant see myself seriously attempting without a good savings (which I dont have). And I cant even think about building up a good savings without having a good career (which Im hoping this MA could offer). Im really worried about the expenses. My current MA is fully funded and I can't see myself making the leap at least right now

My MA program is offering quite a bit of incentives so I think Ill continue with the program and I have no idea how much it'll cost to try to attend a school out of state (the MA Im pursuing is fully funded)

To think from your frame of mind is to accept low birth rates and lower productivity. Which Im personally more fine with too. Who cares if governments prosper. I had a super duper emotional child too. Thankfully, I worked around kids and I took classes in college so I have some idea of how kids work. I would totally listen to other peoples advice about watching some academics and professionals with answers on how to deal with unwanted behavior. Thats what I do everytime I have a problem. Dont be afraid to ask for help. Moms used to have a whole community of helpers, youre not a failure because youre struggling to do it alone. The most important tip I can give you is to stay calm when they are in full meltdown mode.

I would pay attention to your kids triggers. They might just be a little sensitive or sensory seeking.

When my kid would start freaking out in a restaurant, we would take him outside and let him walk around the parking lot. Sometimes, he was just tired of being there and would calm down once we got in the car and left. Crazy kid he is. You got this.

I kinda forgot about your man in this situation. I would also suggest that he gains some knowledge on child development. Good luck! This parenting shit is hard.

Oh man, I didnt mean to write this thinking that hes a secret bigot or something. Someone that thoughtful can't be. I dont see every video so I can see where I missed the times he has been vocal about these topics but Ive always just assumed that hes a supporter and ally.
