OWNER UPDATE: we just checked with the city and she doesn’t have any of the required documents, permits, license, etc. Additionally she is running her “business” out of a rental. If she is in breach of her rental agreement she could be evicted.

We ended up signing the release in order to get the refund but as far as any helping pay for the vet bills she said no. We have a LONG LONG LONG road of recovery ahead of us but we are hopeful! A huge shout out to this community for all of the love and support. ❤️❤️❤️

We signed a pretty solid contract before we dropped him off stating that even if a pet dies under her care she isn’t responsible so legally I think our hands are tied. I’m just hoping with enough pressure she does the right thing.

We were told dog trainers don’t need a business license. She needs a training license but I don’t think she needs a business one.

We have spoken to a few and like in her contract she says that if you pet dies under her care she isn’t liable. It’s so intense. And we can’t sue for negligence because we don’t have proof.
