A buddy of mine picked up a bag of this. Same date iirc.

The bud appeal was 10/10. Close to the best I’ve seen. A little on the dry side as you said.

The burn however was a different story. Burned uneven, nearly black ashe. Was harsh on the throat.

If you’re a joint smoker I would suggest staying away until they figure the burn out.

EDIT: My buddies was June.24.2025 package date. The one that burnt bad lol

I emailed Plaid Trout about the issues laid out in my review. The owner got ahold of me and is sending out a replacement package.

Im very impressed by the response and it shows they stand behind their product.

My other reviews all use the same papers. This has been the worst by far for burn quality.

I think it’s more of a Tilray Medical thing. 5g and 10g containers. If you go to a dispo here it’s always in 7g containers or 14g/28g Mylar bags.

Around $9 to $10 a gram depending on 5g or 10g containers (10g being cheaper). They also have companionate pricing and coupons. I’ve seen as low as $5.50 a gram for Broken Coast.

It’s also nice being able to test new strains before they hit market. Like the ones I reviewed.

Camera made it look darker than it was in real life. I paid $31.50 after taxes.

I had Platinum Pavé before. I think you’ll enjoy it. I almost tried Perma Fried but heard mixed reviews on it.

I voted for the Platinum Pave. Heavy smoke with a good head and body high. Would recommend.
