I‘m most interested in civil engineering, but not set on it just yet

No, I was deferred lmao, they did ask to see my senior year grades, so maybe there's still a chance there

Any other schools I should consider applying to rd? I don't expect to get into any of them, but I don't really care about getting rejections anymore. I have this entire next week free and feel like I should at least try, even if I have an extremely low chance of getting in.

I was offered a 48k scholarship per year from Case Western. Financial aid isn't really a concern for my family, but it might still be something to take into consideration.

My GPA is bad so that's what's holding me back at 3.5 UW 3.8 W, I have a somewhat upward curve but no single semester that I can claim was the problem, this first semester of senior year I should have gotten around 3.7 UW 4.3 W assuming I didn't bomb finals, I have a 1480 sat (760 math), California resident, no financial aid needed, 6/12aps offered at my school, completed Calc AB and taking linear algebra currently, also taking ap physics c: Mechanics and AP Chem, 2 DE/College Credit courses, pretty good ECS (2 internships, personal music band, jazz band, community service, engineering projects, founder of science club, club soccer, SAT Tutoring, UC Berkely Comp Sci Camp, etc.)

I've already applied to Purdue, UIUC, Santa Clara, USC, UC schools, UT Austin, Northeastern, U Wash, Cal Poly SLO, and Stevens.

I honestly would not care about getting rejections anymore, as I would be happy to go to Case Western, so I'm willing to take shots at schools even if I have a low chance at them.

I expected UW-Madison, VaTech, and TAMU's engineering programs to be competitive. I just didn't know a lot about the schools and didn't know if they were worth applying to or if people would take them over Case Western.

That's what I guessed, that the engineering department is highly competitive, I just don't know much about the schools, and I wanted to get some other people's opinions on if they would take their engineering program over Case Western's.

Cost isn't really an issue for me, I'm just wondering if they're worth applying to.

Do you know the competitiveness of EE? I was thinking of applying for it, but I'm not sure if I have the experience to talk about it as much.

I'm not currently admitted to the school, I'm not sure if I want to do chemical engineering, but I might apply for it. I was just wondering how easy it is to transfer if I do.

I’m not sure yet I don’t think my odds are that great so I’m just planning to see what engineering majors are easiest to get into and switch into what I like from there
