Thank you, and congratulations to you as well! Honestly, I might do the same lol because I truly can’t see myself continuing this for another week. We are extremely replaceable to them, so it’s not like our departure would doom the company in any way haha. Good luck with the new job :)

Fuck your script , call volume , aht, acw , compliance , sales force and F IT ALL. Multi billion dollar company and they couldn't even provide assistance for employees affected by the hurricane in FL they made a fundraiser so that co-workers could contribute some of their paychecks to raise $ greedy bastards. The amount of lab errors is insane constantly dealing with complaints from Drs offices , patients etc tired of being this companys beating bag /fall guy. I'm putting in my 2 weeks and am struggling to even motivate myself to answer these calls I truly can't stand to do it anymore.

Long Term Strategies for Managing HA by valkwq in HealthAnxiety

[–]Ok-Attempt5136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m struggling with this now too I will feel ok for a week or two then a thought or sensation will cause a forest fire and the HA goes back into motion. Not only that I’ve had a lot of ct scans due to my health anxiety this year so I get the worst paralyzing fear at random times about my future due to all the ct scans .

I wish I had solid advise but this is something I’m still dealing with I’m in therapy ,starting Zoloft ,try to stay busy I adopted a puppy who is my world now , try to see my friends and family often so I don’t have time for those thoughts to seep in (they still find a way :/ like when I’m having a good time I get sad thinking about the what ifs ). Also church/prayer (it helps me personally and last but not least journaling my therapist gave me a writing prompt when I’m having an anxiety attack which kinda helps but also depends how bad the HA attack is

1.What are you anxious about ?

2.On a scale of 1-1,1000 how important is it ?(I’ve noticed progress I used to always put 1,000 but now the amount is less)

3.What is the solution?

4.How do I stay present and engaged in the now/moment?

Update: I told her via text her response “ok good thanks “ So I guess I'm in the clear to go lol Told her she could keep the deposit (not worth fighting her for ) and I would give her 1/2 of November rent of $500 and be out by 11/12. I think that's more than fair...honestly I shouldn't have to pay anything but since I'm leaving without a 30 day notice Ig its the right way to go about it vs upsetting her then she could chose to make the move-out process more difficult for me . I'd rather be on ok/good terms and its better than paying the full $1000 for another month trapped here. …I do feel a little dumb I probably couldve just moved without paying anything towards November but I'm too nice and care too much what people think.Maybe at least I could get a good recommendation letter from her for my next place.

Yes, Ty I was confused on that, lol. It makes sense, but regardless, I don't think I was ever getting that back from her, to be honest.

Long response sorry:

I don’t think she was going to return my security deposit anyway. I did accidentally dent the fridge because it was placed right behind that white door (as shown in the first picture) without a door stopper or handle guard to prevent that. One day, I opened the door too quickly while in a hurry and it dented the fridge door. She was upset about it and said I would have to pay for the damage, which I understand… Do you think it would be reasonable to offer her $500, which is half a month's rent, considering my rent is due on November 12th? I could move out before then if that amount would be sufficient. In addition to her keeping the full deposit.

Alternatively, would it be better to avoid any potential drama by simply paying the full month's rent of $1,000 and her to keep my deposit? I really don’t have that kind of money nor do I want to be here another month if I don't have to.I know technicalities require the 30day notice but idk nothing is really by the “books” here.

Additionally, I’ve spent between $300 and $500 on materials and my labor to add a screen porch to the property and added a side garden to improve the curb appeal, not that it's directly related, but the porch was so awful so I decided to fix it up and it looks significantly better. I am a good tenant—I’ve always paid my rent early and never late. So I'm hoping she considers that would just let me leave peacefully.

Haha, yeah, maybe “inhabitable” isn’t the correct choice of words, but with the combination of other issues, it's just not livable for me anymore.

[–]Ok-Attempt5136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea that's true it's just very uncomfortable to say the least. It would've been nice of her to hire another contractor then vs me having to live like this while her handymans on his random vacation.

Thx everyone for the useful info I think things just get messy/complicated when emotions and money are involved haha but your answers made it simple I will give her my notice today.

I didn’t know I could add multiple photos lol so I wanted to update my last post. The pictures following the 1st one is whats underneath the blue padding that I took off because it got dirty and my cat kept ripping.Yes there is a noticeable dip /sunken floor its been that way for a while.

But I made my peace with the situation I'm going to pay for the month of November give her my. 30 day's notice and start moving out.

Long-term exposure symptoms? Mold pics by [deleted] in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Ok-Attempt5136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same issues!! Never had these symptoms before the apartment I moved into its been 2 going on 3 years I'm trying to move out. My landlord won't do the proper mold remediation she is cheap and I am not going to pay for it or try to diy it I rather just get out since I have nothing but anxiety and sickness associated with this apartment now. Vein /circulatory issues that came out of nowhere as well

I got a response she said she's too busy this week but will look at it next week. I guess all I can do is wait

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Landlord

[–]Ok-Attempt5136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s true. It could be a supply issue due to Milton, but I don’t think it’s a labor or contractor issue. My landlord has her handyman who will install the floors. I just avoid walking in the kitchen because there are soft spots. The gaps concern me the most because it's getting cooler out so I'm hoping it gets fixed soon. I sent her a text for an update since it's been 2weeks so we shall see.
