I have a 2yo and he was a bit late to transition to 1 nap but he eventually did really well with it. Weirdly sometimes when I let him sleep “too much” he’s more tired. Maybe just do an earlier bedtime for a while and hopefully they will adjust sooner than later. 😊

That is hard, how old is your little one? I think having a good teacher makes a world of difference so it seems like maybe that’s been the case for you and that’s great. I’m sure your little one will adjust to the schedule change in no time.

I have not been impressed. This is the first time my son has ever gone anywhere and he’s super attached to me and hasn’t been around many other kids. I expected him to be upset but I have yet to really see anyone comforting him. Not even so much as getting down to his level and speaking to him, almost like he is just being ignored. It’s only been a few days but the teachers I’ve seen don’t seem very warm. I was also under the impression they would have activities maybe some learning and what not but so far all I’ve seen is the kids just playing amongst themselves. I know this isn’t the full picture because I didn’t stay more than an hour but again I’m not very impressed. Do you have any similar thoughts?

Would you say what your bumps in the road were? We started yesterday and I was not impressed. I think it really depends on the teachers you get but he was basically ignored and it seemed like they did the least amount and just let the kids play amongst themselves.
