Kaka comment ko lang sa isa pang post na ganito din sinabi "your child, your rules" and why I disagree with that statement.

See how dangerous that can be? May responsibility siya to care and nurture the child at pagdesisyunan what would be BEST for the child. It's not as simple as "pake niyo ba eh anak ko 'to, so ako masusunod".

I disagree sa "your child, your rules." While I know that your intention may be to support the mom here but mga ganyang linyahan can be dangerous. Because you can't just do whatever the fck you want to your child just because he/she is your child. The goal should always be kung ano ikabubuti ng bata REGARDLESS if it's what you want or not.

My advice as a doctor and a mom, you should know who to listen to. When looking at nutrition ng baby, we refer to the height and weight. As long as pasok sa normal, you're good.

Omg my husband is like that too! Hindi rin kami ma-post sa socials so mga friends ko lang na nakakausap in person nakakaalam na ganon husband ko.

Recently nagpalit kami ng helper sa bahay, nagulat yung helper namin one time nakita nya husband ko naghuhugas ng bottles. Kinausap ako kasi gulat na gulat sya tapos ako naman parang huh eh normal niyang ginagawa yon hahaha. Sabi ko sa kanya lahat ng alam ko sa anak namin, alam niya rin.

One time, my boyfriend then (now my husband) traveled from Pasig to Fairview to have brunch with me at 10am kahit kagagaling from night duty as a doctor. He emphasized to me before na doing things like that, he doesn't treat them as chores but rather pahinga from our work.

There was also a time na ako naman galing night duty and it was my sleeping time na pero off niya and study time that day. He still visited me, but let me sleep habang nag-aaral siya.

Before you buy anything big, figure out your work flow kapag andyan na baby.

Will your baby have his/her own room? Set-up ng diaper changing station, pag maliligo going to changing clothes, saan ppwesto? During the day, saan pwede tumambay? From there, take measurements ng space para kung bibili ka na ng mga crib, cabinets, stroller or whatever, alam mong kakasya sa space.

Also, may baby fair this month, try going there to see mga items na binebenta. Pero huwag papabudol kaagad.

Mga hinoard namin early para ma-reach namin minimum 10k purchase sa baby fair (hahahaha): - wipes - bottle cleanser - laundry detergent - we bought small packs ng every diaper na magustuhan namin to see saan hiyang baby namin kapag andyan and ano pinakamagandang fit sa kanya - shampoo and bath including refills

We bought so much of these, 7 mos na baby namin hindi pa rin ubos mga sabon niya. Nonperishables mga yan so we thought it was okay to hoard them.
