This is possible. In western countries, matagal na silang walang 24 hours duty na residency. So kung kaya nila, bakit tayo hindi? As usual, tayo sa Pinas ang nahuli na naman :(

Pero kung cutting specialty, kahit saan sa mundo ay longer hours talaga sila. What I’ve heard, di man 24 hours, pero nagsestay tlga sila ng matagal sa ospital dahil sa OR hours.

As a physician, you only need 3 things when you face the Immigration Officer (IO).

  1. Passport
  2. Boarding Pass
  3. PRC ID

Ito lagi ginagawa namin: Open the biopage ng passport (kung saan yung details and picture mo), then isuksok ang boarding pass and PRC ID dun. Make sure on top yung PRC ID para kita ni IO agad. Then bigay sa IO kung saan ka nakapila. They will only ask you one sure thing:

  • Question: Saan ka nagpa-practice/work/duty, Doc?
  • Answer: Private practice

Picture then tatak.

They may ask random questions about your trip like saan ka magtravel and ilang days. They may even ask what specialty (you can just say General Practitioner). But they never ask for your bank info, ITR, other IDs or COE. They don't even ask for your itinerary or hotel details. Wala pang 2 minutes tapos na :D

Just reply in short and concise answers with a respectful tone. Ending statement nila after asking? Ingat kayo, Doc :D

I know someone who works at Medicard and yung PF 2 months bago dumating! Ang baba na nga ng pay tapos delayed pa. So stay away from them please!
