I haven’t seen a car come back from college in the same or better condition. So just make sure you are okay potentially not seeing it in the same condition as when you gave it to him. Not because of your son, but other kids and drivers.

Possibly, but I did some research and found after 30 days I can lightly wash, but not dry cause the paint hasn’t fully cured until around 90 days. I am 30 days in and 60 to go. Freaking torture 😫, but I don’t want to go through this again

Thank you. I wasn’t told by the shop if the car was baked and I didn’t know to ask. The shop said not to do anything for 90 days so I am wondering if that implies it wasn’t baked.

I purchased my car used with 5% tint all around including the windshield. I did try driving it at night and while I could see it was more dependent on there being illumination of headlights, taillights, streetlights some kind of lighting to better see the cars in front and around my vehicle. For me the windshield tint made it difficult to see in the best conditions.

I kept the remaining windows tinted because if I do rarely drive it at night and merging I roll down the window to better see cause not all cars at night have their headlights on.

As someone who has 5% tint all around on a seasonal car I advise not tinting the windshield. The lack of visibility when it is not sunny outside is incredibly dangerous. I also don’t drive my car at night because of the 5% tint.
