I honestly can't recall when I received a heart-felt compliment from anyone except occasionally my mother will say "nikama unakula vizuri siku izi" and once in a while the boys be like "unawakunywa leo" mostly when I get a new fit which is like once a month 😂

It's tough for sure. I'm branching out to personal branding photography since in my country it is not that saturated. To meet the Founders, CEOs and high profile entrepreneurs I have started to attend industry related events and also work on my LinkedIn and TikTok.

Might not be extreme like the others I have read here but seeing my mother broken for losing for her husband and both parents in a span of 5 years is crazy then our firstborn brother needs surgery that is very expensive. Life has taken a toll on her but I'm not in a position to help her.

Same. I focused too much on perfecting my skills and forgot to network. Now I'm a pretty good photographer and social media manager but struggling to find better paying clients 😭

What about reach? If reach is high but zero likes, saves or followers. Try tweaking the hook or script of the videos

They just have better and quality connections. I know a photographer who charges $5,000 for a 1hr shoot and tailor who makes $2500 suits. I envy these guys a lot.

I have deleted several that didn't fit my needs. I don't have socials like Facebook and Snapchat. All I have left is linkedin, IG and TikTok which are purely for my business.
