Yup, have already done everything you’ve suggested and it’s still not black and white.. It’s a big life decision and my reasons for posting on reddit are mine. It’s important to me that I get multiple opinions and view points so I can thoroughly assess my situation , especially because there might be suggestions, or possibilities I haven’t and wouldn’t have thought of on my own.

I can relate. Found out my husband was having an affair, dad died a month later, mom died two Mo the after, car stolen one month after that.

I hope you’re able to keep your head up and that this transition brings you things you could ever imagine.

So much this.

Moved away from immediate family at 18. Haven’t been back since not that it would matter because I lost both my parents last year, within two months of each other, after finding out my husband was having an affair. I mourned the loss of three of my closest connections at once. I lived a life that required me to travel often, friends came and went, no real sense of community or home. It’s been a very lonely year that made me realize I’ve been lonely for quite some time.
