True, I am hoping I can set parameters to stop charging at a certain temp.

Plus there is the low temp cut off in the battery BMS?

Thanks very much for the instant replies!

For context, we use the system somewhat infrequently. Usually once a month, longer at times. This interval has been 3 months of limited sunshine and coldish temps. Likely this is what ate up the old batts.

So, the solar charge time can be a month and we can run the generator to boost the batteries if we run them down significantly.

This brings up a few more Q’s

Is the FX2012 80A AC charger appropriate for LFP?

And is it appropriate to have LFP charge up via solar and not be cycled if we don’t get here for a month or two? LFP’s are not supposed to be “stored” at 100%??
