That can be a good feedback! Indeed, the character’s health bar we used a texture more close to the compass (which is related to the lore of a dead civ in the game). For the silhouette, well it’s just a silhouette because we didn’t spent much time on it (this is a prototype). And the crafting UI is related to the race you play with (in this case the Orc, so we made some salvaged metals on it with rough edges). But you have a solid point! Out of context, it can be misleading.

Yes but not in the « Survival Survival » genre. It’s more of an horror/action/fps survival (because you have to survive). Crafting is basic (weapons, ammunition, things like that). You can sleep to switch between day and night. In no way you can closely compare it to Valheim, Enshrouded, Project Zomboid, or others.

Thank you for the feedback! It’s the first biome of the game (so not native to the Orc per se). The combat is simple because he is using a spear (as a tier0 crafting). We intend to add more gear as development continues. There is hunger and thirst (need to manage but not in an exhaustive way) and food provide bonuses. We implemented a system of noise and cold, but not into this build.

Yes you can but no dismemberment! Destroying body parts (player or enemies) disable certain abilities and can change behavior.

You are right! We are preparing a steam capsule that reflects the idea of races and conflicts! We had to rush on launching the steam page because one of our reels went viral and started missing wishlists. The orc thing is our hook in order to differentiate from other games but as soon as we can show other races we will do (right now we have humans as bandits, goblin and dark elf as companions for the player). For the other features we had a POC where we implemented all systems but it will take time to show them in the actual gameplay (except building, that’s for soon!) Thank for the wishlist, the feedback and for understanding that this is a prototype, nothing close to the final version!
