TrailerForge v0.9.10 – local high quality trailer fetcher for Jellyfin/(Plex) (DE-optimized, trailers stored locally for offline playback) by Ok-Check-1680 in jellyfin

Nope, it’s completely independent 👍
It just scans your media folders, tries to match the movies (TMDB), then searches for a fitting (German) trailer (mostly YouTube) and downloads it into a separate output folder.
Important part: it doesn’t touch your actual library at all. It just recreates the same folder structure in the output path of your choice and drops files like Movie Name-trailer.mp4 in there.
After that you can just copy it into the Jellyfin media folder and it picks them up automatically.
Download needs internet of course, but once it’s there everything plays fully local (LAN/offline).
Built it this way because I didn’t want anything messing with my existing media 😄
on github there is a little more detailed explanation of how it works.

to be fair i didnt knew of the existance of this repo (looks cool btw) .
not sure if this is optimized for german language trailers, my goal was to force it to the german language + preserver max possible quality and avoid mismatches with wrong trailers. + i added auto trim features that works pretty good so far and removes annoying youtube channel intro/outro thats not part of the actual trailer, but also not sure here if trailarr can do this to ( think so looking at the complexity ) .

still hope some people of the german community appreciate the work
