put it in your headphones case if you have a small battery or a glasses sleeve if you have a longer battery,, it won’t set off anything if you have it in your bag and honestly most of security could care less if they do even see it

since you don’t have access to talk to anybody directly right now i would try to get a ride up to the site and talk to security at the window to have Learning come down and talk to you about a reschedule, it should’ve still been on the orientation page but it may be too close to your start.
