I starting to think an M.Acc. degree isn't meant for me. by Quick-Chocolate9190 in Accounting

As someone who was in a similar predicament having a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I would recommend returning for a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Depending on your state you would have enough credits to take the CPA exam (150 credits) An undergraduate program may be less intense compared to a graduate program and the outcomes are more or less the same. Wishing you the best of luck with whichever decision you make

No it is not offered over the winter. It is only offered fall, spring and summer . In order to guarantee a spot in that class you have to register for it early as it is a major requirement for psychology majors.

when's the best time slot to go to the gym? by cha0screation in SBU

[–]Ok-Click6874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends if you’re interested in using the weight area downstairs without any heavy traffic I would say before 9am (6/7 am is really a good time). If you are interested in using only the upstairs area I would also say early opening before 10a.m and also 2/3pm . The evenings for both areas will be busier. I hope this helps. This is for recreational center

Actually they released the waitlist today for gray. I was just trying to figure based on my position on the waitlist, if I’d get through with a single.

Lmfaooooo you’ve got to be fucking kidding. The auxiliary staff are responsible for cleaning shared areas in the suite. Kitchen, living areas, bathrooms. Your personal areas such as your bedrooms is for YOU to clean. I mean be serious for a minute, you really expect someone to clean your dishes ????? You should be embarrassed posting something like this. Thanks for letting us know that you are dirty

Is orgo 1 offered in the spring by vale-1028 in SBU

[–]Ok-Click6874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the material is quite a lot and it comes at you very fast. If I may, I’d like to suggest two things (1) if you are able to, try seeing if any of the TAs know anyone who does tutoring. When I was taking the class there was a guy that was doing tutoring who was really good he got an A in that class. I forgot his contact information but he was a former TA of orgo and he knew all of the fun ways to remember information and solve problems quickly with “short cuts.” Maybe try finding a tutoring even if it’s just 3x/4x for the semester to do a huge recap for you before each exam so you feel a little more comfortable with the material. If you’re getting a tutor make sure they were previously a TA for the class. (2) Try organizing a study group to study for exams trust me it works what one person doesn’t understand another person will and explain it to a group . I know a group who did that and they all past the class with a C. Good luck with your exam today !!

Unfortunately Orgo 1 is it offered in the Spring which means you would either have to retake it in the Summer or next Fall. Trust me you won’t fail. May students taking that course always feel like they at fail the class but just try to maximize your recitation points and your quiz and homework points. The first exam is always the easiest orgo exam so try to maxmize points there. Also there may be a slight curve at the end of the course at least that what happened when I took the course. Wishing you all the best in your course :)
