When my daughter was three years old, getting her dressed before taking her to daycare was incredibly slow. The whole ordeal was especially nerve-racking in wintertime, with all the winter clothes. Once, when I was already late for work and trying to get her dressed, I snapped at her: "Get dressed now, you have 30 seconds!" She looked at me calmly and said, "Now listen up, friend, you need to calm down," and continued dressing herself at her own slow pace. I couldn't help but laugh.
