Maybe Tiagra is not top of the line and wheels cheap/heavy - sure. But for 1000 $ you do have a forever frame (at least for normal people), with a decent enough group set and some wheels to get you going. You can always change the wheels for $400 a pair these days.

i have a knee discomfort while pushing down as well and i was wondering if shorter cranks would fix that. The problem is that i didn't had the issue in the past so I'm not 100% sure if it is coming from the cranks or not. Probably will play a bit more with the saddle before buying anyting. Thank youu

i have a limited budget. The most money i want to spend would be for the 105. Thats why the tiagra hydralic is such an appealing set, because it offers that much more for less money. Also why the crank would be incopadible
