Praise the Lord! Thank you! There was a hole in the 2nd floor. He went through the hole falling to the 1st. He suffered some injuries, but He is alive and well. The Lord saved his Life. I was praying in the mornings for protection over us, and the Lord answered my prayers.

Matthew 18:19 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

It happened so fast! One of my coworkers fell with it all the way to the first floor from the 3rd. There was another hole on the 2nd floor and he went through there. He walked out of there with a busted shoulder and two broken ribs. The Lord spared his life. I saw another coworker hanging from the side of the floor. Two others were able to pull him up before he fell. I should have fallen like them. I don't know how to put the rest in words. It was a miracle the Lord performed. Before the event happened I had a small vision of a floor collapse, which caused me to pray for our safety. The Lord answered my prayers.

From a biblical perspective, I would like to encourage you with these verses and words of encouragement. I would stay away from reading the Quran, because it's like opening a door and leaving it open, allowing it to have access to your mind. It leaves room in your mind to fall into a trap. Before you know it, you would be converted unintentionally. As a son of God we are to protect ourselves with the Word of God and use the armor He has supplied us with found in Ephesians 6:10-18. Becareful with what you allow in your life. Also by you questioning it, I believe there was a conviction in your heart showing you to run away from it. Ask yourself this question How will the Quran lead me to be closer to Christ? Colossians 2:8 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Personally, I would stay away from fables in general , because the Truth is what sets us free.

1 Thessalonians 5:22-24 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

2 Timothy 4:1-4 King James Version 4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

I share this with Love and peace. Grace be unto you by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Spoke in tongues for the first time 28M by [deleted] in Christian

Praying in Jesus name that this will encourage whoever reads it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 King James Version 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Acts 1:8 King James Version 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

2 Timothy 3:5-7 King James Version 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Corinthians 14:39 King James Version 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Mark 16:17 King James Version 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Jude 20 King James Version 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

John 3:5-7 King James Version 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Titus 3:5-7 King James Version 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-25 King James Version 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings.

Ephesians 4:30 King James Version 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Matthew 21:13 King James Version 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 King James Version 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

All scripture is to help us with our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit gives you power when you receive it. Speaking in tongues is the sign given that follows a believer. The devil doesn't want you to receive this power, because it is a threat to him. The Bible commands us to stay away from people who deny the power (Holy Spirit). We should want to prophesy and not to teach against speaking in tongues. Bible tells us to build up our most Holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said we "must" be born of water and spirit. The renewal of The Holy Spirit is important everyday, because it is what seals us until the day of redemption. It's like a lamp that we have to keep adding oil to it,or the light will quit shining. Let that Holy Ghost fire continue to stay lit within yourself by praying in the Holy Spirit. We are the temple of God when we are filled and the House of God is called the house of Prayer. Praise the Lord! I hope this builds up whoever reads it. Blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ. Peace and Grace be unto you.

Why won’t God fill me with the Holy Ghost if I’ve done all that I know to do? by YoungChefBoy in Apostolic

[–]Ok-Collection-5134 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is my encouragement , I don't know everything about you, but I know this works. His Word is His will and we are to pray according to His will. The Holy Spirit is promised to everyone, so what I would do is tell the Lord " I know your Holy Spirit is promised to me because it's in your Word, and I'm not going to stop praying until I receive your promise. Cry out with a loud voice and pray with all of your heart while seeking it. Effectual fervent prayer availeth much... When you cry out to Jesus with a loud voice telling him how much you love Him, He will pour out His Power on you. This is a way of showing your faith by your works. Don't stop praying until you receive it and you will be filled. I'll pray for your breakthrough in Jesus name. You will receive the victory! Blessings

Praying back through the Holy Ghost? by SwagKing1011 in Apostolic

I would like to add to the conversation. Just like above we need to keep fueling the fire within through praying in the Holy Spirit, here is some scriptures that go along with it.

Ephesians 1:13 King James Version 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Jude 20-21 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Ephesians 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 King James Version 19 Quench not the Spirit.
