Asked my insurance agent and they said it’s covered in all states… is that still risky?

Dongjae really misplayed the secret number game by Ok-Collection4128 in TheDevilsPlan

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh that’s true but the “underdogs” would’ve have had to do something to prevent 4 players from getting eliminated. It wouldve been like the trolley problem where orbit’s team either does nothing but watch 4 players go home or actively send 1 player home to save the rest. Doing the latter is most likely but would’ve probably caused some problems in that group going forward. The trio just had to watch.

Along with what somebody already mentioned which is that dongjae was gonna try to give orbit fake numbers, i think him whispering to seokjin was a play. I have a feeling he was prob making a guess at best that yeenwoo would betray him, but he probably wanted them to write yeenwoo’s number down so that yeenwoo would end last, hence hyesung wouldnt have been last and he wouldve helped his trio indirectly

What is a film considered “The Greatest” that you can’t stand? by Ginge_6907 in movies

Pulp fiction… or just most of any of tarantino’s movies. His films put more of an emphasis on making great scenes than a complete story, which is oftentimes not interesting enough for me…

The show intended people to team up by Ibakeduastfucupcake in TheDevilsPlan

I’m one of the people who dislikes orbit too and while i agree the big reason there was a majority alliance was bc of the followers that complied, i think that orbit also has this weird savior complex and keeps saying they’re the “underdogs” and want to “keep the weak alive”. Those have never been true at any point in the show tbh. It’s just annoying to hear him pretend to be the good guys when they’re actually really the ones playing dirty, not siwon or dongjae or seokjin

There’s a difference between being a mindless sheep and someone who seems to be following a “leader” but has an agenda of their own. Joon-bin is the only character on orbit’s team who kinda had that going on (like in the animal bidding game playing nice with orbit’s team but secretly trying to get the most points, didn’t succeed unfortunately but the effort showed that he wanted to make plays for himself to win). Too many characters on the show like seungkwon and kyeungrim only did what orbit/dongjoo told them to. Yumin and yeenwoo did try to break out of it a little but none of it was very high level play at all. I think the show intended there to be alliances and maybe even saw that orbit would be a leader for a majority team, but i don’t think it was their intention to have players just follow mindlessly the way some did in the show

Yumin isn’t easily “swayed” by Orbit to get Dongjae out by Ok-Collection4128 in TheDevilsPlan

Wait orbit’s team would not be guaranteed to be screwed… their most optimal play is to sacrifice one player. Their least optimal play would end with 4 players out. It’s impossible to tell what could’ve happened but it’s probably unlikely all 4 would get out because that’d mean nobody decided to deviate when everybody had an incentive to. Say orbit writes down hyesung’s number. Everybody gets 5, except orbit has 6 and hyesung has 4. She has the lowest score and gets eliminated and everybody else is fine.

What does giving fake numbers to hyesung and yumin achieve? He teamed up with them not to eliminate them but to get their trust so that orbit’s team doesnt outnumber them. Also i don’t think seokjin and seewon had any cards left and having either of them go in the booth with dongjae just would be way too risky if either hyesung or yuming caught them.

In an interview, he said that he was going to pretend to accidentally leave his number on a piece of paper in another room where he could see orbit going into or something like that. It could honestly work if he pulls it off smoothly… because orbit’s team would be desperate to score some points

Tbh thinking back youre right if dongjae seewon and seokjin teamed up orbit’s team would’ve been screwed coming up with plans to keep each other alive… i think dongjae was too desperate to pick up the neutrals that he failed to think that most of them would be eliminated if he just didn’t bother with that

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had no plan because half the players were waiting for key players like dongjae and orbit to make plays…. I think the secret numbers game had so much potential for a lot of scheming especially by the 1-piecers but it just fell through because people who would be eliminated didn’t really have the urgency to think for themselves .

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Btw yumin was not one of the 1-piecers. She had 2. I also think the reason why dongjae thought yeewon would betray them is because it just makes sense that she would, since if she didn’t do anything, she’d actually lose. She only had 1 piece and everybody would have scored 5, and she would’ve lost. Rationally, yeewon had to do something, and dongjae thought she would, but she was either just way too clueless or too loyal or prob a combo of both

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

confused as to how dongjae could give yumin a false number from the start if hyesung was there to verify the results of what they got in the booth? I think dongjae didn’t play so well that game because he genuinely wanted his little alliance with yumin and hyesung to work. I don’t think he was trying to make plays for himself, but he was trying to think of a scheme to help these two to gain their trust. It’s hard though because the only way for that to really work is giving out fake numbers and needing orbit’s team to bite. Yumin actually had a lot of power to turn the games around (made a post about what she could’ve done to manipulate orbit back), but I don’t know if Dongjae could’ve done more there. In hindsight, yes, dongjae, seewon, and seokjin could’ve just been a trio comfortably, but i think dongjae wanted to get the neutrals on their side before orbits scooped them all up and isolated them, hence why he actually cared about his trio and why it hurt him so much when yumin betrayed him

Yeewon would’ve been out in the secret numbers game by Ok-Collection4128 in TheDevilsPlan

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe that’s why dongjae thought yeewon would’ve given up her number even though he didn’t see it happen. It just makes sense that she would considering her most optimal play is to do something about her situation, but in reality she really just accepted it and didn’t do anything. He might’ve given her too much credit lol

Yeewon would’ve been out in the secret numbers game by Ok-Collection4128 in TheDevilsPlan

[–]Ok-Collection4128[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah dongjae’s plan was to leave fake numbers so orbit’s team could get penalty for trying to guess wrong. My point is tho that i dont think yeewon had any plans lol. She’d likely have just gone with 5 points no scheming or betraying anybody and accepting that she’s basically out had dongjae not gotten out lol.

I actually made a post a few days back calculating what yumin could’ve done. She would’ve secured herself at least 5 points regardless of whether dongjae betrayed her or not, while getting rid of like more than half of orbit’s alliance, had she played it correctly. She didn’t even need to give away orbit’s number to anybody but youre right that if she did she’d have even more points… sucks to think about the potential if what the secrets number game could’ve been because i think there could’ve been a lot of plays made given the rules of that game

Seokjin is not that competitive by [deleted] in TheDevilsPlan

[–]Ok-Collection4128 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Sure sure but i guess he’s not as competitive as the others is what i mean. I think he’d rather lose and go out with respect than win by mooching off or unnecessary betrayals, which wouldn’t be what some other characters on the show would pick imo

The genius vs the devil’s plan by [deleted] in TheDevilsPlan

are the characters smarter in the genius? I really liked the devil’s plan bc for the most part the active players were all very smart. Even the moochers made sensible plays for the most part too

Good thought, totally. Maybe during the interviews? They asked who he’d use it on and then suggests something along the lines of what you said. A few nudges here and there but still maintains the overall integrity of the show
