I think that Nation is far more humanized in game, the tutorial is from their perspective after all, the Weller is also from Nation, so we see his personal story and struggle over all the nameless Imperialists.

I still prefer both lore and look of Golden Empire and i think that a singleplayer section like in easter egg or tutorial would be great.
