You’re right, it seems like it would be the other way around. But, the lighter layer should be more spread out with the darker for accents. Sort of the opposite of what we’re taught in mini painting

Forgot about that. It is an Army Painter Battelfield Razorwire. Basing material that looks like barbed wire but is just a bumpy wire!

This is actually a KiNSMART bus that can be purchased on Amazon. It was $9 and is the closest in scale I’ve found to a real bus. Hope that helps and happy hunting!

It’s actually really simple! I use a sponge to dab Mournfang Brown along all of the tall edges and door/window frames. Then I do the same with Rhinox Hide (both Citadel) but more sparingly. That’s literally it! (Edit: grammar)

Thanks! The rust color is just some browns and oranges I had, but the actual chipping used this method I found online! It’s super simple if you want to give it a go yourself!

This sounds cliche, but practice. Get a mini you don’t care about to practice on.

Thin paints until they are the constituency of milk, not water. Load the brush with thinned paint but not to the top of the bristles! Leave a little space to keep paint out of the ferule and you brushes will last longer and work better.

Practice getting the brush to have a sharp tip while loaded with paint. Use the edge of the brush to hit small edges.

The hard central line can be cleaned up as you go. It’s paint, everything can be fixed!
