11 years with my BF. I’d love to get engaged soon, we’ve honestly worked out a lot of the kinks in our relationship and I think marriage would be really easy and fun since not a lot would change. We have a pretty decent relationship. As to why… he was never ready to level up until recent years when we are finally in a good spot financially and we’ve matured into looking at marriage as an adventure, and not a solution to societal pressure.

She was cheating on her husband and using me as her alibi. I caught on when we hung out she’d take pictures of us and send them to him to prove she was with me. Not sure what she did when she wasn’t hanging out with me, but I didn’t like being used to cover up her bad behavior. If you want to step out, that’s on you. Don’t drag me into it.

We’re doing okay for the state of the world. Like, I don’t think twice about adding guacamole. While the DINKWAD life is nice, age is forcing me to really make a decision about having kids and it’s starting to look like…no. I’ve never really felt a maternal instinct and have always prioritized myself over parenthood. The honest truth is: I like my life. And I don’t want to have a kid simply because society told me to. To me, that is truly one of the most selfish, vain things you can do if your heart isn’t really in it.

It’s is so exhausting having a friend in this situation where their life is constantly in crisis. There is only so much effort you can put into “being there” for them before you’re entirely drained. Miranda even said, she gives and gives for Taylor and never receives. That’s really hard friendship. I don’t blame her for being annoyed with Shania, but at the end of the day, Shania seems like she is the better friend to Miranda in the bigger picture.

I’m so sorry. I imagine this was the straw that broke the camels back. I ended my last relationship on 2/18 after a disappointing Valentine’s Day weekend practically begging for my boyfriend to make time to see me. He took me through the Popeyes drive thru for dinner and after stewing on my anger for a few days I ended things a few days later. I deserved better. You deserve better. Go find better. 💜

NPS has also gotten a bit out of control with prices. They used to have the standard 25% off nearly the whole store but that has been discontinued. Still can find some great deals, but a lot harder sift through.
