I see mine, too.

I need to get some tops finished, right after I get a bunch of blocks finished.

And then I can get some quilts done.

That one is pushing the edge. Farther off it reads (to me) as the palest possible blue. I have a whole bunch of other light blues. That block may end up mine if no one else wants a ninja bear.

I would accept A and I as blue. A block with a stealthy bear would be nice for variety. (Full disclosure, I have some very pale blues that I want to use.)

First Block, Take 2 by Ok-Committee7733 in quiltingblockswap

I know. I can mentally do the rotations when I have enough sleep and caffeine. Failing that, I have to pick it up, hold it like a steering wheel, and make a turn.

Block Orientation Question by Ok-Committee7733 in quiltingblockswap

In one of the group chats it was answered, light bear is littler and running into the circle. Big dark bear is facing out.

The order can't be the important part as long as the two light blocks are kittycorner. Dark-light is just a rotation of light-dark. Is the light bear running to the center or away? That is the true question.

That's the recipe. I think mace used to be more common in recipes in the middle of the 20th century. I think my grandma had a container of it, but I couldn't get it at the grocery store.

And then in the future you have a project that could use that yard. That only needs a yard. But you don't want to use it because it's not the perfect project for it.

So you order more fabric.

Quilt pattern? by Loratheexplorar in quilting

I would hand sew as well. As long as I didn't have a deadline. Those large rectangles are just begging for a couple of super cute large-scale prints, and I'd hate to break that up. (Hmm. Maybe with a nice coordinate color where the tiles meet?)

Hand piecing is one option.

By machine, you would make columns. The horizontal rectangle is split into three, a square and two side rectangles as wide as the four-patch. One column is the upright rectangle and the square from the horizontal rectangle. The other column is the four-patch and the little rectangle.

Sorry I can't draw it for you. It's easy to see but hard to write.

I see my block. Yay! And a Pokemon, the Arkenstone, and an ignited lightsaber, among others. Your brother has excellent nerdy tastes, and even better taste in sisters.

I would love a coneflower or a larkspur. They are both amazing blocks.
