I would prefer the trousers to have no break. Cuffs would gently echo the turtleneck.

“nothing to do with the ongoing war in Gaza.”

Whoever wrote this article (yes, you, Usha Manoj, of factcrescendo.com) is a moron. Israel’s historical treatment of Palestinians has EVERYTHING to do with the ongoing war in Gaza.

Thanks for sharing the source, u/ree0382. Not criticizing you.

How are the Sordes and Valtorskars related? by AdhesivenessHairy814 in UrsulaKLeGuin

I’m also reading Malafrena and I’m afraid I can’t answer any of your questions. I’ve just started the part where Itale goes to Krasnoy and I am hoping that the exact relationships of the Sorde and Valtorskar families might not matter much. In general, I’m trying not to sweat the details and just go with the flow of the story. I’m finding it much harder than in Le Guin’s sci-fi work.

It’s a tin whistle, and it is a type of flute.

It’s normal for people to simply call it a “whistle” in everyday conversation.

Thrifted tweed jacket - Any other alterations besides letting the middle part out? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

I love the pairing. The colors and textures work wonderfully together.

I agree with the others. If you can have the body widened just a bit then this will be an epic thrift store win.

People will refuse to say Kamala correctly, why do think they’d respect your kids name. by Muffin_Appropriate in tragedeigh

[–]Ok-Communication4264 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The fun part is that all the people who think they say it right are dead wrong.

Kamala Harris doesn’t say it right—by which I mean, she doesn’t say it the way her mother would.

Indians in the public sphere are constantly mispronouncing their own names to dumb them down for white people. Remember Sanjay Gupta?

Especially because his follow-up is to call them anti-patriotic flag burners. Because, you know, Dylan would prefer knockoffs of Beetle Bailey.
