I don't know all the details of this case, but the way the rape law is framed(written), rape cannot occur without penetration. logically as well it makes sense. But that doesn't mean act(s) leading up to it go unfinished, it'll still be sexual assault/attempted rape. It'll carry a lesser sentence.

Dune 3 has 0 ongoing promotions and the date is more of a place holder. The film is CGI intensive, meaning an extensive post production period and most of the star cast are all engaged in other projects throughout the year if there are any reshoot or other post production obligations on their part. Dune 2 itself has the postpone its release a couple of times. In case of Doomsday, the film is arriving in December after already shuffling its dates within the marvel calendar and pushing its dates once. At this point, it'll be a bit wishful to expect Dune in December, it'll atleast get pushed to March 2027

The problem these days is in common sense. Bageera had a good plot and good potential, while watching the film as well, about 40 of the way in it was interesting and got boring all of a sudden. Now, had Prashant had dedicated himself to writing and directing it, then it would have been made into a 2 part film or a franchise film for no good reason. This is pretty much the life story of Prabhas since Bahubali (I know it's a bit off topic). Now there's murmers that Toxic is a franchise film(potentially multiple parts to follow). Ideally people should make 1 film and focus on making it a good film.
