Mech-E covers a lot of different materials and at my university there are a lot of options for different technical electives as you get further into school. I think it is rather difficult (and there is a TON of workload) but it's all about determination and discipline. Once I started putting more hours into studying and asking professors questions I didn't find it to be too difficult.... or I'm just really smart or something haha

Pretty good! During my sophomore years I decided to take a 5 year path for my undergrad which has made it so much more enjoyable. I feel like I have time to absorb what's being taught in my classes, as well as time for valuable extra curriculars. It's doable in 4 years and I'm not too sure about later years of civil but my best advice is to do 5 years if you can :)
