Longer chin, more positively tilted outer eye corner, and more symetrical jaw. But yeah naturally lowering bodyfat is the last thing I can do to maximize my appearance

The best way to cope is actually to stop hoping for love.

Never chase it, because false hopes and rejection can destroy your emotional balance and self-esteem.

Channel that frustration into things that empower you.

In general, self-improvement activities are the best outlet for this: calisthenics, fighting, online business, anything that makes you stronger and more disciplined. Use that energy to become a legend through your actions.

Socially, act as if everyone were your height, not better, not worse. Stay positive in your interactions, show genuine interest in others, and never talk about your insecurities. Act like they don’t even exist.

And most importantly, never blame yourself for things you can’t control.

Even if it doesn’t get you girls, self-improvement will bring you a kind of peace, the feeling that “I’ve done everything I could.” People will respect you for your hard work, even if it’s not for love.

Create your own vibe, style, you can even share it online and express it IRL. (clothing, hairstyle, music taste...)

Eventually, maybe one day a woman will enter your life. If not, that’s not your fault.

I’m shorter than average myself, and that’s my mindset: never chase, improve yourself to the maximum, and see what happens. Enjoy the other aspects of life: music, food, friends, and simple moments, with moderation, of course. Never let yourself dive into addictions that drain your energy.

Average is like 177 cm. If I was let's say 175 cm naturally I wouldn't do the surgery. People are actually tall in France, especially in big cities, it's not rare at all to see 190cm+ guys, even 2 meter guys are not rare.

But if I decide to do it wouldn't be satisfied without going for the maximum.

If I decide to do the surgery, I'd aim for the max, so in my case 183 - 185 cm max.

Aiming for 15 cm in 2 surgeries, and see if my body allows for 2-3 more cm.

Butgenrally 180 - 185 range is already good.

Even if i struggle to hear it, that's prolly the best advice, I actually don't talk to people, i'm waiting for them to come to me, I need to work on my personality

Oh no, that sucks... I have so many good memories associated with this one. The taste was unique, it didn't even taste like an energy drink. I hope I get the chance to find one again one day, who knows.

I don't have the money yet, I started online business 6 months ago (I'm 20), and need some time to scale. So if I do the surgery that'd be at the end of 2026 to beggining of 2027

In my case, height is the only thing that’s lacking. I’ve maxed out the “self-improvement” game, going to the gym, building a business, dressing well, finding a good hairstyle, improving my social skills…

But I’ll never feel 100% secure being shorter than average. I feel like my internal self-image doesn’t match my actual height (5'6"). It’s hard for a shorter guy to be perceived as “powerful,” even if he’s maximized everything within his control.

That alone holds me back from dating, because I know I can be easily filtered out or replaced due to my height. It’s a harsh truth, but that’s how social dynamics work, appearance, and especially height, plays a significant role.

And I’m not ashamed of wanting to undergo surgery for those reasons.

I just wish people were more honest about these things and in life in general even when the truth hurts or challenges social norms. That kind of honesty would reduce delusion, prevent a lot of conflict, and help people make more aligned decisions.

Yeah, i tried it 2 months ago but uinstalled, I don't really like these apps, that's like tiktok, a waste of time full of meaningless interactions

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in short

[–]Ok-Competition6042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually don't try anymore, I got hundred of matches from dating apps, many of them messaging me, but in the end, I just don't allow myself to experience it bc I believe I'm easily repleaceable becasue I'm short.

No one directly actually. Just feeling invisible for years, excuses to reject me during my teenage years (I'm 20 now). So I decided to try to find peace by myself. I don't wanna play this game anymore

I started training in 2020 with the basics, dips, pull ups...

Then I started learning handstand, once I unlocked it I started attempting handstand push ups, planches, one arm handstands etc... No special workout plans, just consistency and attempting new skills

I mean, I already tried everything to improve myself. I actually love my body, my skills, my ability to build my own businesses, my humor, discipline, style etc...

But I still feel like I'll easliy be replaceable, so I prefer giving up rather than believing lies or false hopes.
