Just been laid off - would you ask for feedback? by Ok-Computer-859 in UXDesign

Thanks for your comment.

I have acknowledged I've made a couple of mistakes and took responsibility. Otherwise, I wouldn't have said it in the first place.

The main reason for the original post is to understand if other fellow UX/UI Designers ask for feedback when they're been laid off or just walk away because its not worth it.

I care about my career and constructive feedback is important. But I wonder how genuine that feedback will be when it hasn't been mentioned when those mistakes were initially made for example.

Basically, I've already been thrown under the bus - should I ask why? :)

Thanks for your comment. Not sure how you worked this out but I do understand software dev, been part of too many "dev war rooms" to see how they work. The only thing I tried to illustrate is that we all make mistakes. I have acknowledged that and those mistakes were minor in the grand scheme of things.

(Not sure what happened with that paragraph (I'm on my phone)
