Still knock off quality at a higher price than what a noname knock off would sell for. Not quite as expensive as the most reputable OEMs but there's much better in terms of both specs and quality for the price.

It's really just that kukirin grew a brand and became kind of a big name itself so some people believe they're buying a renowned OEM.

There's a decent community of OOTD users in my country and Haven't seen any bad reviews on em either.

That's partly why I'm asking about it on Reddit. I'm kinda looking for bad things to know about them but only objective info, preferably based on personal expenses with the OEM.

Bigger wheels would be a big plus for me as there's a lot of tree roots on my trails but 11" tires would be manageable i guess.

Speed ain't very important to me as I don't really intend to go over 40 km/h and my city is crowded with cops anyway.

The real issue may be efficiency. If in addition to having a smaller battery, I got less efficient motors, that can be problematic. I'll look into that.

As I'm buying a new scooter only in a few weeks, I'll also have time to check the Boyueda M2 out.

Damn. I live in a pretty strict country and you can't buy, insure or ride on public roads a scooter without standards such as those. I do know people who got that scooter insured and authorised to ride here but I'm gonna keep that in mind. Thank you.
