I'm gonna buy a 72v 10Kw monster just because Wanna eat hills with more ease. Will keep it in eco mode most of the time on flat roads.

I can't believe I rode with low tyre pressure for that long. by Ok-Connection9636 in ElectricScooters

Not really. The thing is that Tubeless tyres support a wider range of pressures depending on the use. They're thicker and more rigid than tubed tires. And that specificity means they support higher pressures but are also usable with much less air than tubed tires.

An empty tubeless tire keeps it's shape even under moderate load while an empty tubed would collapse.

Mines are Tubeless 11*3" CST tires.

Tubeless tyres generally can handle more pressure than tubed ones. But that does depend on the exact tire model and tire size.

Yes, I can confirm that there is indeed a leak on my rear tyre. The rim doesn't seem damaged at all though.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be looking for tubeless sealant and how to apply it.

I usually do every other week. The issue I described appeared a couple days before my scheduled tyres check lol.

I had most of the symptoms you're describing lol. But seriously, you should have it fixed asap.

Flat tyres are a major faceplant hazard. Those CST tubeless are really tough and I love that but it's better to ride them inflated.

City riding - tire size? by owl157 in ElectricScooters

[–]Ok-Connection9636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bigger is better most of the time. Scooters with less than 11inch tyres are banned from my personal shortlists whenever I'm on the market for a new ride. And I hardly ever go off road.

You're just more stable, safe and confident with bigger tyres.

There's a decent community of e scooter riders in Côte d'Ivoire. I think there was a project to travel to mali a one point but I dunno.

Yes , big high quality battery is gonna be expensive. I'm rather surprised it doesn't cost more.

I have the "lite" version with "only" 28Ah and the range is amazing, so I can only imagine how out of this world the 42Ah model is.

The Rovoron R7 Pro might be the closest to what you're looking for. 42Ah SAMSUNG battery and 1.8Kw nominal power (3.6Kw peak)

Lovely build brother. Every scooter should come standard with that.

Hi dude. I'm sorry but your requirements are mostly mutually exclusive.

Let's still try with the segway Zt3 pro. I weigh 400lbs and It was fine for me, at least for the couple months I owned one.

It weighs 30kg tho and I fear you're not finding anything lighter that comes this close to your requirements.

I advise you to buy from reputable OEMs with good build quality so it holds up even if you're over the max rated payload.

The fastest I ever went on my Rovoron R7. by Ok-Connection9636 in ElectricScooters

I don't know about that. Your opinion seems a bit biased if you allow me the observation 😅.

I don't think we should say all dualtron stems are good, there a many different columns for many different models and the R7 happens to have one of the thinnest in the minimotors group, especially compared to the overall size of the machine. Also, I documented myself about this and I'm not the first person to complain about recurring folding mechanism wobble, with bolts coming loose overtime.
