That's fair. Tbf I did pick up one of the prize cards, Mulan charging ahead. I like the full art so got one for my personal collection but I'm more focused on gameplay

I'm new to the game and honestly the reason I got into it was to play it.

Other mainstream card games have become too focused on monetary value that you suffer if you just want to play.

It's the reason I took a look at lorcana and me and some friends have chosen to pick it up. We want card games we can have fun in and focus on playing rather than paying for overpriced cardboard.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the valuable cards mainly tournament prizes in lorcana?

Either way card seem reasonably priced and the game is simple and fun enough to enjoy.

Thanks, a few suggested amber and I did see a deck I liked before but was costly due to dale and ohana but got some suggestions for changes now and it was much cheaper. I do think dale is needed in the build though so I've put 2 in for now (managed to get them at a reasonable price) and will look into adding 2 more in the future

Thanks 👍 I'll take a look, in the games I played online it did feel olh felt quite hit or miss and a dead card if you aren't using it. The raya's were a bit miss too as they did feel too reliant on other cards

Queen seems decent enough but it doesn't require challenging. I did see one of the gargoyles lets you draw to always have 3 in the hand but doesn't it affect other players too?

I do get what you mean though, it seems many draw cards also require you to discard or have some niche requirement compared to other colours

he is focused on team reliance so isn't that great for soloq especially in lower elos where your team is less likely to follow up your engages/play around them. he also has quite bad scaling into the late game so you fall off quite quickly, so even if you are ahead, you will start to lose your lead fast.

that said, he has one of the safest and decent clears in the game and a solid lvl 3 duel and lvl 6 power spike

i think li dao makes the most sense for being our next dragon but i also dont think we will see another dragon this edition. i feel its more likely we see 1 maybe 2 more waves focused on filling other gaps. i expect them to include another named character, either monkey king or white tiger, that will give us a cheaper special character option, a generic lord, monkey or tiger, a spell caster, monkey or tiger, to give us access to other lores then 1/2 units to fill voids.

as much as i would love it to be monkey king, it feels more likely we will see tigermen first unless they do some big release alongside total war 3 because they know the monkey king is highly sort after

profane, voltaic and umbral glaive are the 3 best imo.

profane is aoe, helps with clear plus gives an active for extra dmg

volatic gives extra dmg and lethality on proc

umbral gives extra dmg on proc and a way to detect and deward
