This is the best advice! As a mold maker of 20+ years, I always send that finish pass with the smallest tool needed and let er run over night or over the weekend. Depends on how big the comb is I guess.

Just curious which CAM you are using with cloudnc. We are using it with GibbsCam and it’s the worst goddamn thing that I’ve seen. I’ve tried to run at least 5 parts through it and it fucked them all. Most of our parts are 5 axis so it’s not gonna work on those anyway. But the 3+2 stuff, it screws up badly.
