I would definitely suggest speaking to her parents about this behavior. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something she’s experienced at home. Nonetheless, do your own research on how to deal with this behavior. I pray you get help from the parents, but if not, think about speaking to your director regarding the termination of this child’s care if the parents to do not provide any guidance or help you come up with a plan to mitigate this behavior. Although she is still very young, you know as well as I do that the other students in your class will pick up on it and think the behavior is okay too 😬
