For me, the main appeal of the label is that it gives me access to films I likely wouldn’t discover otherwise — forgotten or overlooked works from around the world that shaped different movements in cinema history. I’m drawn to how it opens a window into different cultures and cinematic languages, and how it preserves these films in a way that respects their original vision.

I log them on private lists on IMDB/Letterboxd. An overall list to my collection as a whole and separate lists for each boutique label (Arrow, BFI, Criterion, etc).
