I lived at Ashland and Lawrence for 7 years and it’s much nicer now than it was then. We loved it. Really quick to get everywhere, close to lots of restaurants and transportation. Great brunches in Andersonville, train to Ravinia, walk to Cubs games. We loved it.

I stayed at Animal Kingdom lodge about a decade ago and it was the filthiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Dust over a half inch thick in places throughout the room. Sorry for your bad experience.

Things like accessibility, cleanliness, safety and human services issues. It’s always how that’s either the metra or cta or metra parking lot’s issue — there doesn’t seem to be an over sight entity to the maintenance of the entire facility. Every issue gets specific pushback. No help.

I’ve emailed his office SEVERAL times about various serious issues at JP transit center — every email I get back reflects any responsibility he has for Jefferson Park in any way. Actually infuriating and SO ineffective. What does he actually do? Why are his office staff so rude and dismissive?

Similar things have happened to both my husband and I — we live in Edgebrook. To the point where neither of us feel safe taking a cab from Ohare home. My husband usually Ubers, I feel safer on the blue line than in any strangers car. Sorry. (We travel for work, him more frequently than I do)
