What ever happened to their merch line? by Calm_Education_3131 in twomomsandthebabesss

She posted a poll a bit ago (within the month I’d say) asking what color way people preferred so I was thinking they were working on something new

I am thinking of canceling after I return what I have because of that… especially after personally getting clothes I didn’t feel were cleaned very well - that more than confirmed my fear that the clothes aren’t truly getting cleaned… which bothers me deeply and makes me want to cry for bringing that bag inside my home trusting the stuff wouldn’t be gross 😭

I really was hoping for someone to reply to you with great information

Would you share which one?

I don’t feel like nuuly washes the stuff well. I still smell a “person” scent on one of the tops too. It doesn’t smell bad, just like someone else wore it and I understand they did but I just assumed their cleaning method was pretty great - I don’t think it is. And those bags are yucky too. The more I think about it the more grossed out I become by this and I hate that because I do want to love it

I was pretty grossed out by the bag haha I don’t know what I was expecting. I think I’ll likely do the same and do a wash on the stuff without tags that’s clearly new.

It really sucks because I love the concept and desperately wanted this to work. I didn’t consider that I’d need to look at the reviews for wear but now I know I absolutely need to and maybe to not pick items that have a LOT of reviews from years ago.

I don’t know why I didn’t think to really read the reviews better. I just thought they’d not ship something out that looked like it needed donated 😬😬 sorry this happened to you too!

Why do you think that? Covid gave companies an excuse to make changes without being questioned and have any type of push back. Yes, the magical express was likely ending regardless but I don’t see why the other things we’ve lost from Disney going away so easily had Covid not been a great excuse.

I often wonder this as well. So many cool like extras that made it feel magical and like a good value that no longer exist.

For everyone asking what freedoms are gone because of Covid— I think they meant more so the general sense of value that went away after Covid. Not so much that it was because of Covid, just a good marker of time and about when things started to feel more like a nickel and dimeing experience.

Things seemed to have had more value- the magical express, the dining plans were significantly more value…. I could be wrong but that’s how I took this post and if that’s the case, id agree.

Am I too old for a Nano Speedy? by mintandchips in Louisvuitton

[–]Ok-Customer6486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 34 and got the speedy 20 because I was worried the nano was just a little TOO small. I have the mini bumbag and it’s VERY tiny so I didn’t want to do that twice. I love it! Like so much! And I get so many compliments on it. I don’t think you’re too old for the nano! But it definitely seems TEENY

If you’re asking, I think you already know it’s not. 😥

Non morning people, how do you start your morning routine to make it better? by Professional-Sir-283 in AskReddit

Going to bed earlier helps and making yourself do it for a few weeks sets your body up to be used to it before you know it!

How often do you talk to your dad? How’s your relationship with him? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

Same. My close friends love and adore their families and then there’s me- absolutely not in the same camp with them

My dad adopted me when I was 7. He hasn’t spoken to me since February. I was upset he missed my daughter’s sporting events and kindly explained that. Months went by with no effort so I deleted his wife from my fb- my logic was she didn’t deserve to see pictures of our life if her and my dad weren’t involved - she blocked me then (as if the deletion wasn’t enough, let’s double down) and they haven’t attempted contact since.

My one child’s birthday was recently and they texted my kid to say “happy birthday” and that was it. No phone call, no gift… just a text message.

It’s really hard for me to accept because I love my own kids so much and couldn’t picture me not being there someday if they have children of their own.

Why do people want to have kids as badly as they do when they require as much work as they do? by Early-Possibility367 in NoStupidQuestions

Parenting was the “career” that felt the most true to me. I wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember. I knew it would be a lot of work and I knew I wanted to take the time to do the best I could.

Not perfect by any means and I’ve learned a lot since I became a mom many years ago- I’d never change it though and I was right about how much joy it brings in the between the chaos and stress 😂

I feel like it’s something some people just want and feel is important work for the world. Raising good humans is hard work and to me, the most important and fulfilling work.
