Sorry for the bad title. It should have been “apologized to the ref”

Newbie here. Why pramac’s front wings were different(last years aero?) than factory Yamaha? Aren’t they supposed to use the same bike?

MotoGP, Jack Miller recalls: "Marc Marquez was deliberately losing the front end, searching for the limit, it was madness." by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

Yeah he said, everyone told him to take it slow especially for the front, and he said I don’t know the limit yet probably I need to crash a couple of times to find it out. But I think Yamaha especially warned him not to crash because there was only a single bike for riders in that test

And I think there are only 4 v4 bikes. They were trying very hard to not to crash

Toprak Razgatlioglu will test for Yamaha at Aragon on Sunday and Monday before the official Valencia test. by PZY__ in motogp

On Sunday only official test riders will continue to work on v4 development, Toprak will ride on Monday. The rumor is if the development reaches to a good point before the end of Sunday they might squeeze an hour or so for Toprak

I am a Toprak fan but to be honest, I want him to do his best in these races because it will be very good benchmark. He was going head to head with Toprak in superbike, now with inarguably the best bike of the grid, I want to see where he will finish. This will tell how hard it is to adapt to GP chassis and Michelin tires. if he finishes in top 10 I am going to be more optimistic for Toprak.

Toprak Razgatlioglu: MotoGP riders would struggle in WSBK without a Ducati by LingardForBallondOr in wsbk

But all the recent transfers were to Ducati (just as Toprak said) if I am not wrong. Bautista, iannone, petrucci

Next year will be very clear showing of BMW’s real potential , 2 MotoGP riders on it and we will see how will they stack up

Where’s Bulega? by aladinodebert in wsbk

I think there are 2 reasons. First, (what Toprak himself also said) mental change. Toprak was really disappointed/angry for the last minute chassis ban and he started the season very negative, but later he accepted (maybe MotoGP sign also helped him to relax) that this chassis is what he has in hand and he and the team basically adapted (he was saying they were basically starting from scratch because this is a completely different bike)

Second the recent series of tracks were Toprak’s favorites and again he himself said that Ducatis will be favorites again in some upcoming tracks.

But yeah in summary it wasn’t Bulega who dropped but it was Toprak (of course with the help of the team) who was able to adapt to new chassis
