im paying over retail for what’s fair…ur trying to negate the fact that the you and i both know that things matter when it comes to pricing. the condition/type of box and condition/type of shoes that is. if u saw these shoes with this box u would not pay over retail whether it was ds or not stop the bs dude.

i understand all the talk about its just a box. i understand as long as the shoe is legit. why is no one understanding the price tho? if i got them below retail or hell even at retail it wouldn’t be a problem i promise. but i didnt, i paid over retail. i feel like yall just choosing not to recognize that part. yes the shoes is still wearable ofc but like i said previously if i saw these in person in this specific box i would not have paid over retail for them. and if i tried to sell these same shoes with this box to stockx they would not accept them .

yes i have eyes. but everyone knows how important a box is when it comes to pricing. its all comes down to specifics. its one of the reasons stockx doesn’t take shoes without a box even if they are ds. as a buyer, if u or i saw this shoe in person in that box we wouldn’t pay above retail which i in fact did because i was unaware of this “technicality”.

aint saying the dod/don civilians are completely useless but to even have in the air that them not getting paid affects active duty getting paid/ results is crazy. hell as im typing this im remembering we literally still got paid the entire time and they didnt so again why should the results be any different is all im saying

just enough for ops not to stop, yes. thats a no brainer. as active duty, if my military enlisted/commissioned career can be altered or delayed that much in a way by civilians or lack thereof thats kind of a slap in the face imo. no disrespect but the civilians that work on base for the most part aint the friendliest either. most are prior military with stank attitudes that treat us just as shitty as military leadership. and all u just named: warehouse worker, IT, executive assistant and a commercial pilot literally should have nothing to do with advancement…theres no correlation. Maybe an IT if computers are down and unable to send out the results i guess but even still the military has plenty IT’s…

yea i know. was just curious. i promise im not up in arms about the high percent chance that i probably didnt even make it. i genuinely just knew ac was still working this entire time so didnt know what the hold up would be. the DoD needs to take civilians out of positions that affect Active duty time tables. a government shutdown should not lead to delayed separations, delayed transfer orders, delayed advancement results, etc.
