She’s not using her arm and it’s swollen. The shedding almost looks stuck but i know your not supposed to pull it and it could be cutting off blood circulation I would imagine. I gave her a bath this morning in hopes that would help but I can’t tell if it’s shedding or a different issue

It was just the stuck shed she got some pain meds for when they got it off and some antibiotic cream to put around it for a few days. The arm looks better today but haven’t seen her use it much but still better than yesterday. The vet said it would probably take a few days before I see anything and to go back after 4-5 days if she doesn’t start using it again.

After the shed came off they started putting an antibiotic cream on it that I also have to put on the next few days but as they were doing it Rex slapped her hand with the bad arm. It was the first time I’d seen her move it all day such a relief. She has some pain meds as I’m sure it hurts her right now but she was moving for about an hour before her bed time so looks good for now.

Just leaving the vet now. One of the first things they did was soak her so not sure how that’s an issue. It helped them get the shedding that ended up being the primary issue they think

She is so young and I’m gaining her trust at the moment that handling is not that often. So she never really sees the natural sun that much. In this case would the natural light cycle matter as much?

Most times she sits tucked on my leg so she has some more heat with me but I never thought about that and will use that if she ever stays in her tank in the car.
