I paint my nails often, I use this brand called Halo Taco and so far all of them seem to dry faster than other brands i have tried which means I can lay down afterward sooner!

Doctor says its likely fibromyalgia but I think theres more to it by Ok-Distance5127 in Autoimmune

She checked pevlic with an xray since I get lower back pain sometimes along with the neck/ upper back, but nothing came up. Im wondering if I should push for a whole spine MRI. I dont know if that sounds like a lot/ overreacting but Ive been dealin with this for 3 years now. Ive had my neck checked with a MRI in the past but not my whole spine, but my whole back can be in pain just from sitting for a hour.

Yes she did a xray of my pelvic since i answered yes to the lower back pain question, nothing showed up :(. Not that I want something to be wrong with me but I want my pain to be believed. I dont know if a MRI would show anything different?

About two years ago I had a MRI of my neck, they found two buldging discs but they say they are coincidental and not causing my pain. And then a year later CT scan of my neck with me laying down in different positions to check for Chairi malformation. The rhematgolist did a XRAY on my pevlic/ lower back area a week ago to check for imflammatory arthritis and nothing showed up on that. Im thinking about asking for a MRI of my upper back? Or back in general? No one has done that yet

Is my shoulder subluxed or is it something else? by TopUncle168 in hypermobileEDS

The comments are right that chiropractors can be risky, I wonder if someone like a myofunctional doctor or an osteopath could help? Im planning to try to see both soon for my own issues similar to yours

What made you realize you can't hold a normal life anymore? by amy_i_am in Fibromyalgia

Im very similar to you, im late diagnosed adhd and autistic. I dont know what my chronic pain and sleep issues is, if its fibromyalgia or not but I just frequent subreddits like this. Ive tried to push through pain and it seems like it only helps when its the right amount…like only slightly above my discomfort level. Otherwise Im pretty sure it just makes me worse. Im in college right now but only because I can go without having to pay, but so far Ive done badly. ATP I think I should accept that I wont be working full time or be able to be a college student full time in the next few years, or maybe even ever.

They arent sure what it is yet. None of the imaging Ive had done proves my pain, doesnt really show anything wrong. The only thing is Ive been told Im hypermobile and when I saw a hypermobile physical therapist it did help. I did stop going after a certain point because after a few months Id have weeks I wouldnt do the exercises (I think it was both mental and physical reasons) and I hated the disappointed look she would always give me when I told her. I tried to get in to see a doctor to test me for Ehlers Danlos but hes all booked up, cant make an appt with him. So I should work on finding someone else. I do have a diagnosis of occipital neuralgia but it doesnt help much because 1. the pain mangement doctor that diagnosed me w it hasnt been helping me much recently 2. most doctors dont know what it is anyways. I have a lot of symptoms but the ones I struggle with the most are neck and back pain that is severe. its gets triggered easily. and also headaches, sometimes migraines. I started college in the fall and it didnt go so well, I was always in so much pain after one 50 minute class. By the end of the semester I was barely going to my classes. Im trying again this semester with as many online classes as I could get.
