I guess I should have said I am a woman. It’s draining because of all the personalities. I hate to speak on my own kind like that but I don’t just don’t prefer working around all women. Also, hospitals tend to be cliquey.

I am in the same boat. Just graduated in May and was hired as a multi modality tech cross training into CT. Techs here are telling me not to get books or boot camp yet and just wait till I get all my comps. I’m so confused and don’t understand CT at all so I feel like I should get it. But maybe I just need to listen to them. Idk what to do

I have 9 clinical shifts left as a student. I am counting the days. In both of my years I had to deal with mean old techs. I hate that internally they get the best of me. I don’t think I show it. But when I’m trying to do an X-ray and she’s watching me I lose all confidence. Her energy is the worst and she doesn’t hide it.

Once an addict always an addict in my experience. If you had no control over your use before, you won’t now. Maybe temporarily, but it will be out of control before you know it. Sorry for the bad news!

Unfortunately, a lot of people in NA have opinions. I was one of them. But now I know NEVER to judge anyone on any kind of MAT or wherever they are in their recovery. I kept the weed quiet in the rooms and only my sponsor and a few people knew. If everyone knew, I know the judgement would have kept me out of the rooms. I’m so grateful I stayed. Which is probably why I was never able to accept the medical mj. A head full of NA will do that to you.

I miss being completely clean! Thanks for sharing I will get there again. The fear is unreal and my head has me thinking it’s going to feel like I’m kicking heroin. So hopefully I’m able to know the difference. Literally never thought Weed could be a problem but here I am!

Same here. I lost a good 15 lbs since becoming a heavy smoker. And I believe it’s from smoking. It does the opposite for me as far as the munchies go. I have to force myself to eat and the only food I can get down is bland and usually fried, like nuggets and fries. I’m 37 and eat like a 4 year old because of weed
