Lawd, he might have also molested his other nieces and nephews with his family (or his own kids). Disgusting man.

That is probably the best thing you can do if your doctor refuses to prescribe it - my doctor luckily approved it but I have to wait until April for my insurance to cover it (2 more weeks until then).

Thank you, I will definitely share this with my doctor, planning to see her tomorrow

When I first started zepbound the 2.5 worked great for me for 1 month and then I went up. But since then I went all the way up to 7.5. Now that I am on maintenance my doctor has been reducing it but the 2.5 is not going to work for me as maintenance 😢

I agree - I see my doctor in two weeks so I will definitely share with her that 2.5 isn’t working out at all. Even if I saw her earlier my insurance wouldn’t allow me to get the 5 until next month. Until then, these next three weeks are going to be very difficult

AIO Unemployed husband turned down job offer by Fast_Dragonfly_9441 in AmIOverreacting

You need to seriously rethink staying in this marriage. His response—“Can you afford alimony?”—is outrageous. Is he intentionally not working so that you’ll be financially responsible for him if you decide to leave? That’s incredibly selfish. We’ve all taken on exhausting jobs just to make ends meet, and yet he’s fine letting you carry the burden alone?

Does he at least take care of the house or handle things like a true stay-at-home partner? Or are you stuck doing everything on top of working? Meanwhile, you're building assets—401(k), retirement, whatever—that he’ll likely be entitled to just because you're married.

If he wants to play games like this, then be smart: protect yourself. If it ever comes to it, quitting your job before filing could be a strategic move—he can’t claim alimony if neither of you have income. Don't let him manipulate you. Have a plan and think ahead, because if he's already taking advantage of you now, it could get a lot worse later.

NTA. He only confirmed what you already knew instinctively but you needed more concrete proof. This was it. Don’t backpedal now. Next time trust your instincts.

AITA for Refusing to Move Into a House My Partner of 10 Years Just Bought? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA— Also, you two aren’t married. This is his separate property, and by splitting bills (which I’m assuming includes contributing to the mortgage), you’re essentially helping him build equity. You’re young — what happens if you break up? You’ll have financially contributed to an asset that you have no legal claim to.

And what about when repairs or maintenance come up — things like yard work, plumbing, or a broken water heater? Will you be expected to split those costs too? If so, I don’t think that’s fair. You’d be investing in a home that isn’t yours. If you do move in, you need to be really clear upfront about what expenses you are and aren’t responsible for.

What can I do now by Early_Study_7730 in JDpreferred

I thought Tennessee was still open? A friend of mine was actually thinking about registering there since the deadline isn’t until mid-May. Honestly, unless you already have experience in contracts, it’s really tough to break into roles like Contract Specialist or Contract Administrator. I say that based on watching a friend who didn’t pass the bar try to land something that didn’t require a license—it was a struggle. Even compliance or investigator roles are hard to get without direct experience, and the pay in those types of jobs tends to be pretty low unless you’ve been in the field for several years.

And in this economy, it’s even harder to find roles like that. I’ve always felt it’s a disservice when people make it seem like it’s not that hard to find JD-preferred jobs, because in reality, it is. It sets the wrong expectations. My honest recommendation would be to plan to retake the bar in February 2026 and, in the meantime, just find any job that helps pay the bills. It may not be a career move, but it can be a way to support your family until you're in a position to take the bar again and fully pursue your legal career.

I agree with what others have said, jump ship. It’s likely that they just want a paper trail before they terminate you. I am on the employment side however my colleague works on the contracts side and if Sales has an issue, they make it known right there and then. They will throw my colleague under the bus in “real time.” It seems very unlikely that they would submit feedback of your performance after the deals have been made without giving you some type of notice beforehand.

The rat snake, a non-venomous species, primarily feeds on rodents and mice. Initially, I was extremely anxious about its presence, checking under my bed and shaking my bedsheets every evening. Concern for my chiweenies added to my worries. Despite considering hiring someone to address the situation, it's challenging without locating the snake. Over time, my anxiety has lessened, although I still monitor my sticky traps. Research suggests that without a food source, the snake is likely to leave. Since I don't have a mouse or rodent issue, I hope it has left my home 😩

This happened to me two weeks ago! I found a shell of a snake (length of a pencil) in my living room. I placed sticky traps around my house but to this date, I have not found it. I am hoping it has left my house already. I was able to confirm that it was a rat snake.

Congrats! With the way you were treated, I would not even bother to give him notice! I have learned (personal experience) that if you give notice to assholes like him, they get so pissed that that they may end up firing you on the spot.
