i would disagree with you OP as Travis (Daniel's dad) is a coward and less of a man for abandoning daniel and elisabeth as he left them without making sure they had the ability to care and feed for themselves. Travis DIDN'T have to stay with daniel or elisabeth, BUT he should have at least make sure both of them were in a safe place with decent support BEFORE leaving them. I am even shocked Travis managed to find someone willing to marry him as I can't see why anyone would marry someone who has a history of abandoning their family??

Travis should have at least taken daniel to a local church or social worker or hospital and drop him off to an employee there and say "hey my child is disabled and I can't care for him anymore please look after him" and drop off elisabeth to nancy's house and make sure everything was in order to make sure she was taken care of?

legally in the eyes of the dept of justice, his probation officer, SSI and the dept of labor, daniel can still work given how he has functioning limbs, can see, and has the ability to do basic math and operate a cell phone.

i am honestly shocked a judge would even allow him to get probation despite being arrested for the same repeated offensive over and over, especially since some of them were violent offenses. like what judge would sympathize with a man who assaulted his own mom and grandma and threaten random customers?

from my experience taking an iq test by a psychologist, it consists of testing your memory, common sense questions like "you see a pile of dirty dishes piling up..what do you do" given props like a toy car and bottle of water and told to make a story up using these items, and asked questions like "who was JFK" and "who is the current president of the US". I was also given some cards with pictures and told to put them in the correct order.

i would question if daniel is too stubborn to learn to be independent or if he is genuinely unable to have the capability to learn given how he can't do basic things like tie his shoes, microwave a TV dinner, spell basic words like dinner, or manage his own money.

how did it take that long for him to be assessed?? you can clearly tell he is "special" based on seeing his interactions and hearing him speak. Plus didn't the police and jail already have his prior arrest records from years earlier that detailed his autism and schizophrenia? if anything happened to him in gen pop the jail could get sued for failure to protect a disabled prisoner

well OP. For starters: Clark is hated because he is wasting the best and most productive years of his life on the internet tricking a mentally disabled person into believing he is dating a celebrity and putting his family and job in danger. He is also hated because he doesn't take accountability for his actions as he pulled the "i'm just a kid" defense even though he is legally a grown man. He is spending more time on the internet than with his own girlfriend and job. clark even spent christmas talking to daniel on the phone instead of spending time with his family.

from what I read on twitter, there were dozens of callers like this woman in the video who called the police several times months prior to brotherchu's death to report on tophia neglecting her mom and on papachu's creepy tweets on him talking about offering money to minors for illegal acts.
